Securing international superstar Keith Urban as the headline act was a “dream come true” for the Deni Ute Muster team.
“He is one of the artists people have been begging for each year,” Deni Ute Muster general manager Kate Pitt said.
The Ute Muster is the only venue to have the country music star perform in Australia in September. This is reflected in ticket sales with thousands already sold.
Other acts include John Williamson, Troy Cassar-Daley and Shannon Noll.
The massive event is once again likely to draw a huge following.
Organisers expect the crowd to reach 20,000 people this year, up from 18,000 last year.
The Ute Muster has been running for 18 years and each year the committee look to improve the site.
Camping sites have been expanded along with other works completed ahead this year’s event, on September 30 and October 1.
“We have a world-class site and stage, we try extremely hard to provide good facilities,” Miss Pitt said.
Tickets are still available online but Miss Pitt advises people to “get in quick” with tickets expected to sell out.
