Murrumbidgee Council has awarded funding to more worthwhile projects in the area.
Eleven projects will receive funding under the $9 million Community Infrastructure Fund.
This is in addition to the 33 successful grants previously allocated to community groups from across the three towns of Darlington Point, Coleambally and Jerilderie under round one of the Stronger Communities Fund.

Administrator Austin Evans said the further funding is vital financial support for the chosen projects.
“From building upgrades and equipment purchases, these grants allow local community groups and clubs to improve their services for the benefit of everyone,” he said.
As a result of the quality of applications received, Council has increased the Stronger Communities Fund by $500,000, which will be funded from the $9 million Community Infrastructure Fund.
Details and conditions of this Second Round Stronger Communities Fund will be available after the February Council Meeting.
