While the township of Coleambally was in a standstill due to a planned electricity interruption, the Coleambally Ladies Bowling Club played their Triples Championship on a slightly sluggish green.

Liz Schliebs played some brilliant shots to see her team take out a 21-11 win to claim the title.
The winning team consisted of Schliebs, Anne Robinson and Evelyn Coster (skip).
The next bowling activity will be a Bowls Charity Day in aid of Can Assist on Saturday, May 20. Sausage sizzle at 12.30pm with play to start at 1.30pm. Lucky bowler draw and raffles on the afternoon.
