An open garden will be held on Sunday October 22 to benefit Can Assist and Cypress View Lodge. For $20, people will have free entry to the gardens and morning or afternoon tea. From 9 am, Yoga will also be available in the garden for a gold coin donation.
Mrs Gardiner says the day is an opportunity for locals to get together and enjoy the warmer weather.
“It’s good to have the pleasure of a lovely stroll. It’s a great walk around the dam just to relax, talk and socialise,” she said.
For Mrs Gardiner, her gardener is something she takes pride in.
“It’s heaps of work. I do a lot of work on it this time of the year.”
Registration and payment forms are available at Cypress Hill Lodge, Stitch in Time on Koo and Riverina Yoga Studio. To find out more contact Jenny Gardiner on 0427 746 124.
