THERE were mixed results for the final round of the 2017 season with Mercedes defeating Bentley nine points to six. This win allowed the Mercedes team finish on top of the ladder after going through the rounds undefeated.

Unfortunately, BMW couldn’t field a full side and therefore forfeited to Porsche, however with the help of a number of players waiting for the 6pm game a scratch match took place.
BMW defeated Porsche 14 to 6 to take their second win for the season.
Try scorers for this game included Oscar Bellato, Declan Evans, Chantal Knight, Samuel Fattore, Matilda Blackett, Harry Tooth , Sam Strachan, Lachlan Vearing, Eloise Jay, Logan Smith and Jack Blackett.
The final game of the evening was between Maserati and Jaguar, this was closely contested resulting in a draw with eight points each.
Ryan Jay, Millie Rossato, Lily McKersie, Linda Clarke, Thomas Fattore, George Payne, Elli Hay, Mark Jay and Dusty Chirgwin all crossed the line for their respective team.
This Thursday will be the first week of finals with Mercedes playing Jaguar at 5pm while BMW take on Bentley at 6pm.
Six members obtained their Level 1 in refereeing last week after undertaking the four-hour course.
