Murrumbidgee Shire towns get into the Christmas spirit

With the festive season kicking off across, residents are invited to come along and celebrate.

The Lions Club of Coleambally will hold their annual Christmas Gala at Oval No. 1 on Saturday December 9. 

The night promises fun for the whole family with a jumping castle, town train rides, merry-go-round and face painting all on offer. 

Lions Club’s Sue Hardy said the night offered fun for everyone.

“The community all comes out to get together. It’s a fun evening for everyone.”

Santa is expected to make an appearance at dusk.

Elsewhere in Murrumbidgee Shire, Coly Club Christmas Family Night will kick off at 5pm on December 16.

Christmas Carols will take place at the Darlington Point Club, BBQ Area from 6pm on December 17.
