The competition sees around 20 clubs from NSW and Victoria come together. Each team is designated into one of four zones.
Coleambally along with Leeton, Hay, Deniliquin and Finley will form Riverina West.
Coleambally Squash Club’s Cate Hardy said teams will be picked each month based on the dedication and willingness of players.

“It’ll be different people each time. We’ll be pooling players from our squash club. It’ll be up to whoever would like to play,” she said.
The Club has been running for four four decades and currently hosts around 30 members.
Ms Hardy says it offers the town something a little different.
“We have a dedicated crew. Not everyone plays netball, football and cricket,” she said.

The inter-town competition will see matches played within zones, before winners play off for the overall title.
The first competition matches will be played on February 25. Games are expected to be held every four to six weeks and grand finals have been scheduled for December.
Ms Hardy said when the club was approached by Squash and Racquetball North East Victoria (SaRNEV), they were more than happy to join.
“We were really keen to do whatever we could do to promote the sport,” she said.
“It’s a non-contact sport and it’s one of the best for a cardio work out – better than netball or cricket.”
With competition looming, the club has also had some off-court success as well.
“With savings and some grant money we’ve actually been able to replace the old plaster front walls with state-of-the art walls at the front.”
