After Coleambally won the toss and elected to bat, they were unable to make the start they would have wanted as Bryce Rogers (0) and James Clarke (1) early to be on 2/8 after five overs.
Sam Toscan and Chris Hayes looked to rebuild their innings and gave the Nomads a chance getting their side to 23 before Toscan (9) was bowled by Connor Bock.
James Buchanan and Hayes were able to lay the foundation for the rest of their side with a 38-run partnership before Buchanan (10) was dismissed by Ryan Bock (1/11) and was followed quickly by Tom Bowditch (0) who was caught off the bowling of Nate McGregor (2/8).
Hayes (49) continued his push for runs before he was dismissed one run short of a half-century and with some late runs from Thomas Munn (16*) Coleambally reached 121 before they were bowled out in 33.3 overs.
The Nomads gave themselves a fighting chance picking up the wickets of Piriyarathan Karunapalan (2) and Matt Salverstro (0) to have Exies on the back foot at 2/7.
Aditha Jayasuriya (22) and Connor Bock (15) combined to get their side towards 50 before the loss of three quick wickets put them back in danger.
Kokulan Kandeepan (25) and McGregor (25*) were the backbone for their side in the middle order, and with Jamesh Patel (10) adding vital runs as well Exies were able to come away with a two-wicket win.
The Saturday game between Coro and Hanwood finished in a draw after heavy rain brought the game to a premature end. Issac Testoni (45) and Ben Signor (69) helped secure a first innings total of 157.
Hanwood looked to be in trouble after Testoni (3/10) backed up his performance with the bat by taking three crucial wickets in Harry Rowston (0), Oliver Bartter (3) and Tom Bartter (4).
With the score on 6/30, Angus Bartter (13*) and Brodie Mirtschin (10*) tried to add some stability to their side to lift them to 61 before rain brought the game to an end.
