Coleambally tennis season in full swing | Photos

Coleambally Tennis Clubs Autumn Competition is well underway for 2018.

New and old members are enjoying using the new synthetic courts that were replaced during January this year.

Many thanks go to Murrumbidgee Council for providing $50,000 as part of the Stronger Communities Fund Round two.

Three weeks into the competition and we are seeing some amazing tennis, with last night proving to be no exception.

We had Team Hurricane vs Team Typhoon and Team Tornado vs Team Cyclone.

Despite some very competitive match play, Hurricanes and Typhoons were a draw with each team earning two points each for the night.

Cyclones proved to be too blustery on the night, breezing to a comfortable win and earning a cool four points for the team.

At the half way in the comp, we have a clear leader at the moment with Team Cyclone on 12 points, followed by the Hurricanes on seven points, Tornados on six points, and Typhoons on four.

With three weeks to go in the comp before semi-finals, it's still anyone's game.
