After Colemabally won the toss and elected to send Hanwood in to bat, their goal was to take early wicket which they were able to do as Tom Fattore (1/9) picked up Oliver Bartter (3) while Angus Bartter (3) fell to Bryce Rogers (2/11).
With the score on 2/14, Ben and Harry Rowston looked to give their side a total to defend but after only 10 runs Ben Rowston (8) fell to the bowling of Sam Toscan (1/7).
Harry Rowston (27) continued to keep the runs ticking over with a 21-run partnership with Brodie Mirtschin (4) before Hanwood lost wickets at constant intervals to slow the run scoring. Tom Bartter (16) and Sam Robinson (17*) added late runs to help their side set a competitive 107 off 30.2 overs.
The Nomads would have approached their innings with confidence as Rogers and Chris Hayes walked to the crease. The pair were able to put on 14 before the wickets started to fall. Ben Rowston (2/18) and Angus Bartter (2/12) did the damage as Coly fell to 4/31.
After Sam Breed and James Clarke put on 23 runs before Robinson (2/6) and Harry Rowston (3/8) came into the attack and brought the Nomads chances to a close. When Hugh White (0) was bowled by Rowston, Coleambally were bowled out for 72 after 27 overs to send Hanwood through to the grand final.
