They took out the title nine games to six, but the competition was tight. Four of the nine came within a single point of winning.
Squash Club’s Cate Hardy said the round brought out the best competition in both sides.
“The star of the day was 24 year old Matthew Clark from Grenfell. He played against our top players and gave them a great run around,” she said.
“He also showed great sportsmanship.”

The competition sees around 20 clubs from NSW and Victoria come together. Each team is designated into one of four zones.
Coleambally along with Leeton, Hay, Deniliquin and Finley make up Riverina West.
Games are expected to be held every four to six weeks and grand finals have been scheduled for December.
Last weekend’s game saw Coleambally make the trek to Temora as it was a middle ground for both clubs. Ms Hardy said the 260 kilometre trip was still well worth it.
“There were a few there that hadn’t played doubles before, so it was a little entertaining.”
Coleambally’s Darren and Adam Hardy remained undefeated throughout the whole day.
“Darren and Adam both won their singles matches and doubles matches. They were a great team.”
Coleambally Squash Club will face off against Hay at home in Coleambally next month.
