After bringing up his 500th career win earlier this month, Blake Jones is looking to add to his record at Wagga on Tuesday night.

Jones has six drives over the big 10 race cards.

He rates two three-year-old fillies as his best chances.

Hunza Valley has two wins and two second in her last four starts but due to that success has to contend with barrier nine in the Mark Crutcher Racing Pace (2165m).

“Hunza Valley looks like a winnable race,” Jones said.

“She should go ptreey good but will have to do a bit of work at some stage.

“She has been up the front in most of her wins, but I think she can still win from back there.”

Jive Dancing has won two of her three starts this preparation but also draws the back row.

However Jones believes her biggest rivals are in a similar position.

“Babyitscold and the other dangers are off the back as well which makes it a bit even,” he said.

“If she can get a cart into it at some stage and is close enough she has a pretty good sprint.”

Jones’ six drives are for five different trainers.

Hunza Valley is trained by girlfriend Ellen Bartley while he drives Jive Dancing and Rocking for David Kennedy

He also takes the reins behind Trunkey Tash fro Chris Hughes, Go Lorian for Terry Powter and Conrod Kenze for Peter Dennis.

The big night also signals the return of MIA Breeders Plate winner Major Roll for Mirrool trainer-driver Stephen Maguire.

He’s drawn seven in the last race of the night.
