Eight young ladies and their partners were presented to society at the Coleambally Catholic Ball last weekend.

Natalia Burgess, Jack Blackett, Emily Strachan, Tomas Lafsky, Shayne Scott, Cooper Smith, Danielle Mannes, Thomas Fattore, Chantal Knight, Harry Tooth, Charlotte Morton, Jack Cullen, Grace Lyell, Chris Hayes, Abbey Young and Tom Bowditch all took to the dance floor to show of their best moves.
The group learned the traditional Pride of Erin and a waltz. Event organiser Debbie Hopwood said the group was fantastic.
“Everyone was very well behaved. The girls presented themselves in a way that showed what beautiful really is and the boys looked very handsome,” she said.
The debutantes and their partners were presented to a group of officials, including St Peter’s Parish Priest Fr Blaise Kurek and Member for Murray Austin Evans. All proceeds from the night will be donated to St Peter’s Catholic Parish of Darlington Point and Coleambally.
