The highlight of the day was the A grade’s stunning victory, defeating Temora 58 to 48 who were sitting in second place on the ladder.
Star Hannah Buchanan moved and shot with precision in the game.
Acacia Clark played her first game for the season as WA, becoming an immense help to her teammates.
Goal Keeper Tessa Evans played an effective game in preventing Temora from taking the match.
Goal Attack Lauren Pound was the umpire’s choice as Coly’s best player.
The B grade side unfortunately couldn’t keep up with Kangaroos and showed some improvement in their overall game.
The team stayed with the Temora side for most of the game but unfortunately the Kangaroos were able to run away in the last quarter.
Emma Dunbar was effective through the mid court, taking several intercepts through the game, her team mates voted her as player’s player.
Hannah Clarke worked very hard in defence was chosen as Coly’s best.
The Temora side was just too strong for our C grade on Saturday, but to our girl’s credit they never stopped trying.
Tess Mader was awarded as Coly’s best for her efforts on defence, while Grace Lyell was voted as player’s player for her versatility and effort over the court.
The Under 15s had an early start to the day for their first game of the day when they were outplayed by a strong Temora White side going down 42 to 23.
Grace Tooth was awarded with the club award while Giaan Cullen was chosen as player’s player, both girls putting in a great effort.
Their second game for the day saw the Coly girls being the dominant force taking the game 57 to 3.
Izabelle Pretty was given the player’s player award for her improved play while Paige Goudie was awarded the club voucher.
The Under 13s had a good game even though they lost 21 to 11.
The defenders worked hard all game with both Emily Hibbert and Charlotte Young taking home the club awards.
Maddie Perkins also deserves a mention for her overall improvement.
The Under 11s were unlucky to not to take the win on Saturday when they went down by only two goals.
All girls continue to show great team work. Hannah Pound played another great game was awarded the canteen voucher while Alana Jones was given the club voucher for her continued improvement.
