Coleambally’s junior footballers saw huge success over the weekend, with both under 11’s and under 13’s capping off their seasons with good wins.

The under 13’s side defeated Barellan 45 – 10, leading the charge in every quarter. Kurt Hickey, Lachlan Vearing, Hugh White and Nick Graham all contributed to the score.
A similar story unfolded in the under 11’s side, coming away with a great 50 – 13 point win. John Star scored two goals to come away as the game’s lead scorer.
Seniors
Coleambally Blues put up a good fight against Barellan in the Farrer League seniors over the weekend. A goal from Christopher Hayes in the first quarter got things off to a good start. Coleambally scored again when Jack Cullen brought the Blues within striking distance (18-16) in the second quarter.
The Blues managed two more goals in the next term, finishing up the third quarter ten points behind 33 - 43. With a couple of goals in the final quarter, Barellan managed to seal the game 77 – 41. Next week will see the Blues travel to take on the Northern Jets.
