Last week’s allocation announcement held no further increase for Murrumbidgee irrigators, with entitlements remaining at 6 per cent for general security holders.
While there has been small amounts of rainfall in the past weeks, it hasn’t allowed for a change in entitlements, with the average carryover standing at 22 per cent.
Minimal inflows have been recorded over the past three months, which are in the lowest three per cent of historical record.

The climate outlook continues to point to dry conditions.
Areas currently experiencing drought are less likely to see respite in the coming three months.
Above median day and night-time temperatures are also likely during this period.
Most international climate models show El Niño is likely to develop before the end of 2018.
El Niño typically means below average rainfall during winter-spring for northern and eastern Australia.
