Sue Inglis will be sitting again in the president’s chair for the next 12 months, while Julie Wilshire stays treasurer.
Gail Hibbert will be secretary and all offices were full again for another year of interesting topics and agenda.
Next year topics for CWA study are carp, kurrajong tree, koala and our country of study will be New Guinea, so there should be a lot of interesting things to learn and debates for the next 12 months.
Our club will be helping the Cypress View Auxiliary at the Taste of Coleambally on the 27th and 28th so come and say hello, and buy a cup a tea, we would love to see you in the Arts Hall.
CWA is hosting with conjunction Tocal College a Quad Bike Safety Training day on November 13 and 14 November at the Community Farms
It is free for all farmers with ABM and we want everyone to come - women, men, boys and girls over the age of 16.
It will undertake harm prevention activities associated with on farm use of quad bikes.
There will be basic tuition in the morning and practical use where trained teachers will take you through farm terrain with you on quad bikes, going through safety exercises. Please ring Gail on 0427 667 553 or Sue 0421 729 830 for bookings.
Our next meeting will be on November 9. We will start the day with a craft morning at 10.30am, and our meeting be at 1.30pm.
