The pair took out three of the eight races, including heats of two lucrative finals.
After just missing out in the opening race with On That Day for Forbes trainer Jason Gaffney, Jones went one better with Jive Dancing for the Euroley trainer.
After finishing seventh at Leeton first up from a spell, Jones thought the four-year-old raced much more like herself at Temora.
“She probably didn’t drive to tractable first up, she got in a little bit at the start and definitely didn’t drive as well as she normally does,” Jones said.
“He changed a little bit of gear on her and she drove a lot better last night.”
Jive Dancing was placed at group two level last season but struggled in her opening race of the season.
Both she and Bustn Feelz Good failed to qualify for finals at Leeton after returning to the track on Boxing Day.
However they were improved as Kennedy hunts for Carnival Of Cups success.
“We weren’t entirely disappointed in them at Leeton, as we knew they needed the run, but we did hope they would go a little bit better and qualify for the finals but it didn’t happen,” Jones said.
“They had a bit more fitness under their belt and went good last night."
Jive Dancing was able to lead all the way from barrier four.
Bustz Feelz Good also led all the way to win his heat.
He did plenty of work to lead last time out, but got things a bit easier this time around.
“I probably just gassed him a little bit at Leeton, but last night we got to the lead pretty comfortable, got a good first half and he was able to keep on kicking to get home,” Jones said.
Both will be in $12,000 finals on Saturday.
Jones and Kennedy also won the last with Emm Aye Dee.
Coming off a tough effort at Parkes first up, the three-year-old filly was a comfortable winner.
Meanwhile, a four-horse fall marred the running of the Ray New Memorial.
Madi Young, Peter McRae, Phil Maguire and Todd Day were all caught up in the incident with Young taken to hospital but released soon after.
