Also pleased to receive a feed and a full-belly was Coleamabally Can Assist president Barb Freer.
Mrs Freer said she deeply great full to the Lions for their donation and was pleased to have been after invited to a dinner with the club.
Mrs Freer said Can Assist are currently providing assistance including payments for treatment, medical and travel expenses for 10 residents living with cancer in Coleambally.
According to Mrs Freer the only other form of funding available for Coleambally Can Assist was through their own catering fundraisers.
Lions president David Brian said the Lions were only happy to help out, especially for such a wonderful local organisation as the Coleambally Can Assist group.
