A four-day course and field trip to Coleambally Solar Farm has helped brighten the futures of students from Coleambally Central School and Tirakndi Inaburra.

Seven students from Coleambally Central School joined five students from Tirkandi Inaburra Cultural and Development Centre for the course.
Through the course students became accredited with a working with asbestos certificate as well as white card.
A white card is a requirement for any worker entering a construction site in NSW.
The course was funded through a partnership between the Canberra institute of Technology and the company Neoen who owns the solar farm.
As part of the course students spent one full day on the Coleambally Solar Farm with Tirakandi Inaburra centre.
Centre manager Matt Watts said his students Walter Smith, Zac Haines, Adam Irons, Hayden Berry and Myles Miller greatly appreciated the hands on learning opportunity.
"The boys are all quite young, up to 15 years," Mr Watts said.
"They're not going to go to building sights strait after school, but it's great for these kids to have some accreditation Australia-wide.
"It's something for them to put on their first resume out of school to show they are capable.
Mr Watts said the boys themselves were very vocal in how much they appreciated the opportunity.
"We don't have access to as many training and education opportunities so anything that comes to us to help up-skill the boys is massive."
