In the junior years, over 20 Coleambally students participated in the Griffith PSSA Zone Swimming Carnival held at the Griffith Aquatic Centre.
The students were undaunted while going up against tough competition from Griffith East Public School and Griffith North Public School at the Carnival.
During the awards Coly won a shield for the best performed small school.

Coleambally's junior boys 50 metre relay team came first at the carnival with team members Xavier Jones, Alex Pound, Andrew Fattore and Hayden Payne set to compete in the regional competition in Albury on Wednesday.
Xavier Jones also came runner-up junior champion at the carnival.
Hayden Payne will also be competing at the regional competition in the 50 metre freestyle while Cooper Payne will be competing in the fifty metre butterfly.
In the junior girls Coly Central's 50 metre relay team consisting of Lucy Bolton, Millar McGown, Jessie Pound and Chloe Demamiel came third.
Lucy Bolton will also be heading to compete in Albury this week.
Coleambally teacher Philip Turtle said the students all performed well and had a crack.
"There was good sportsmanship and chatting between the different schools students," Turtle said.
"We did well against Griffith North Griffith East and other schools in the area who are all bigger.
"Coleambally Swimming Club and the coaches there have been helping get a lot of good results."
Coleambally's seniors also competed in the CHS Riverina Carnival in Leeton with the school's 50 metre freestyle team winning the Central School's Open Relay.
Danielle Mannes, Charlotte Young, Lachlan Fattore and Jack Cullen are set to compete at the state level.
