The Brolga will be running a fundraiser on March 23 to help three-year-old Coleambally resident Iszac Miller-Schmidt who has had his life thrown for a loop since being diagnosed with the type 1 diabetes.
The fundraiser hopes to raise $10,000 for the Schmidt family in an effort to buy young Iszac an insulin pump which would take the youngster down from a daily dose of six needles, to needing only one needle per-week to control his blood sugar.
Iszac's grandmother Roz said the pump would also allow her grandson to return to the normal life of sport and play and would also be a relief for Iszac's mother Tegan who has is a single mum working 30 hours-a-week.
The fundraiser will kick off at 4pm with live entertainment being performed by BJ Auston, Albie Hutton and Damien Noll the brother of Shannon Noll, an auction will also be held for a Wallabies jersey signed by every team member, bidders contact Kel on 0437 775 748.
