The theme this year was "Connecting People, Places, and the Past". One display that drew considerable interest related the Darlington Point Sunshine Club, showing memorabilia from over the 58 years the club has been functioning. Founded in 1960, the Darlington Point branch had membership of around 200 in its early days. Originally connected with radio station 2RG, there were once several Sunshine Clubs throughout the district; the Darlington Point branch is now the only one still active.

Also on display were the items from a time capsule, exhumed in December 2018. The capsule had been buried in 1993 at the time of the centenary of the Uniting (formerly Presbyterian) church in December 1993, and the contents included photographs and documents, a list of visitors to the centenary weekend, and a cassette recording of a church service.

The photograph display featured the theme of "youth" and included school groups, football teams, toddlers, teens, and youthful debutantes. Continuing this theme was an array of children's books, toys and garments from earlier eras. Among these was a book prize awarded to the late Thomas Finley in 1907, and a Girl Guide camp blanket from the 1980s, on loan from a high-achieving former Girl Guide of Darlington Point, Linda King.
