Barellan's first win of the season, and Sean Browning's first as coach, was a maiden victory in more ways than one.

Wingman Ben Maiden delivered the knockout blow for the Two Blues at Coleambally, kicking a stunning goal late in the game to claim a memorable two-point win.
"The ball went out on the full and Ben Maiden, he went back and took it upon himself to slot one from the boundary - he kicked it from 45 out, on the boundary line - and that was it," Browning said.
"I said to the Coly boys, I know how it feels, this happened to us a couple of weeks ago. Matt Wallis did the same to us when we played the (Northern) Jets."
There was relief as well as excitement as Barellan delivered on the promise they've shown in four previous games this year.
And they did it with resilience, recovering from a goalless first quarter, the loss of gun Sean Ellis to a hand injury in the third quarter, and a 10 point deficit at the last break, to kick four goals in the fourth quarter for a 14.8 (92) to 13.12 (90) win.
"It was just nice for us to close something out. We've been close," said an elated Browning.
"It was fantastic."
With a strong wind, Coleambally dominated the early scoring but sacrificed some chances, kicking 3.6 in the first quarter.
Barellan, given their chance, stormed back into the game in the second with seven goals, to trail by three points at half-time.
Browning said their focus then was to consolidate against the breeze in the third, stay in the contest and hope to ride their luck in the last.
That looked to be against them when Elllis went down but the Two Blues were less than two goals down at three-quarter-time.
Still, Coleambally hung tough at the end and looked like they might deny the visitors, with Charlie McAdam and Curtis Steele leading the way in the midfield and Dwayne Weetra kicking four goals.
However, a snap from backman Jack Brumby when he went forward helped Barellan in the lead-up to Maiden's heroics, as well as a final-quarter goal from the coach, who led throughout.
"For me, it's my first win as senior coach at Barellan. It was something I needed. I just bled for the boys. They deserved a win. They've been working so hard," Browning said.
Maiden, Nathan Barnes and Darcy McDermott were also among Barellan's best along with Casey Moore and Ellis who both kicked three goals.
The Two Blues will now aim to make it back-to-back wins when they host The Rock-Yerong Creek in a fortnight. They'll anxiously await scans on Ellis' hand to determine the extent of his injury.
Coleambally will have to regroup after the week off when they head to North Wagga.
