It is set to reach an audience of more than 150,000 people, this guide will be a key marketing tool for Coleambally, Darlington Point, Jerilderie and the surrounding region.
It will provide potential visitors with detailed information to assist them to plan their trip and spend more time in the Murrumbidgee Council area.
The new guide will be distributed through many different platforms, including accommodation properties, tourism operators and numerous businesses throughout the Riverina and Murray areas, accredited Visitor Information Centre network throughout NSW, QLD, SA, and VIC, caravan and camping shows in Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Gold Coast and Brisbane.
It will also be available as delegate's welcome kits for conferences and events held in the Murrumbidgee Council area and via the Murrumbidgee Council Website and social media pages and council's touring route partners.
General Manager, Mr John Scarce, said council has a strong ongoing commitment to work together with businesses to promote our region and attract visitors.
"Tourism delivers economic and social benefits to local businesses and the community in general," Mr Scarce said.
"We encourage all local businesses to become involved with the inaugural guide to make our region a desirable place to live, work, invest and rest."
