The Sharks were able to make a strong start with Todd Collins getting over the line with just a minute clock before the Roosters made an impact on the scoreboard with four tries in 11 minutes with Tony Leadbitter scoring twice while a try each to Ben Jeffery and Robbie Simpson.
The DPC side scored a fifth unanswered try with Ryan Hartman getting over the line before the Sharks reduced the margin to 14 points at the break with Alan Dutchie Thomas Ahyuk getting across 90 seconds before the halftime hooter.
TLU was able to get a try after the break with Brodie Morris getting across before the Roosters put their foot down again.
Leadbitter completed his hat-trick while Jeffery scored his second of the afternoon to have DPC leading 40-14.
Josh Veivers joined the growing list of try scorers for the Roosters while two tries to Simpson saw him complete his hat-trick and have the Roosters on the way to a percentage boosting victory.
Lincon Kirby was able to get a consolation try to see the margin reduced to 44 points when the final whistle blew.
DPC return home this weekend to take on Hay.
