Competing in Grade 7, Coleambally went through the Riverina Pennants and only dropped one game to Leeton and District Bowling Club on their way to finishing on top just half a point ahead of Narrandera.
In the Zone Eight Pennants final, the team came up against Stockinbingal in the semi-final and prevailed 85-42 before taking on North Albury and coming away champions with a 69-52 win.
President of the Coleambally Bowls Club, Les Robinson said they were looking forward to heading off.
"A few of the guys left on Sunday and are making a trip out of it, and then the rest of us will leave on Tuesday or Wednesday," he said.
"Everyone is really keen to get up there."
Last time Coleambally made it to the State Pennants they fell to eventual champions Lightning Ridge by three shots and Robinson likes their chances of going further this time around.
"I think we have a better group of bowlers heading up this time around," he said. "If we have a good day, I don't see any reason why we wouldn't give it a good shake."
The bowlers will start with pool games which will see them take on Guyra, Mingara and St Johns Park.
