The branch, located inside the Coleambally Newsagency at Brolga Place, is due to shut on Friday November 8.
The closure of the branch means the nearest Commonwealth Bank branch from Coleambally will be more than 60 kilometres away in Griffith.
CBA's NSW regional manager Sara Sutton said the decision to shut the branch stems from a review which indicated a significant decrease in customer usage of the branch.
"Following a recent review, we made the difficult decision to close our Coleambally branch," Ms Sutton said.
"This branch has had a steady 36 per cent decline in transactions over the past five years, with customers increasingly choosing other banking channels such as our mobile, online and phone banking services.
"Closing a branch is never an easy decision.
"We only do so after careful consideration of customer demand and the availability of alternative services."
A notice provided by the bank stated customers will need to travel to the branches in Griffith, Leeton or Narrandera if they wish to visit a Commonwealth Bank branch.
However, Ms Sutton said the Coleambally post office will continue to allow Commonwealth Bank customers to conduct the same personal and business transactions that were possible at the Coleambally branch.
The closure of the branch leaves the Bendigo Bank branch, also on Brolga Place, as the only established bank open in the town.
