Bartley and Blake Jones combined with So Kool Master winning on the metropolitan card.
So Kool Master hasn't missed a placing in his last four starts, and finished too strong to take out the Australume Pace (1609m) at $31.
They were also fourth with Abitmorebliss in a Menangle Country Series final.
Bartley finished two wins behind Bruce Harpley in the Southwest and Riverina trainers' premiership and finished the season with 43 victories across the country.
The new harness racing season started on Sunday with Wagga to host the region's first meeting on Saturday night.
