Around 200 workers from Signal Energy's Darlington Point solar farm came to slap some sausages and raise some money for the Griffith & District Motor Neurone Disease Support Group.
Signal Energy has been raising money by selling blue t-shirts, which the team wears every Friday to raise awareness for MND.
Through t-shirt sales and donations they've raised $7500 and counting, and they're hoping to reach $12000 in the coming days.
Support group president Margaret Moore said the money would go a long way to help MND sufferers from around the region.
"What they're doing for Motor Neurone Disease is absolutely fantastic," Mrs Moore said.
"To think that a company comes into the community, chooses a charity, and works so hard to make a donation to that charity is absolutely beyond words.
All the money goes towards local MND sufferers to ensure they get the best quality of life as possible in their final days.
The money stays locally and helps patients buy medical equipment, lifter chairs, beds, or any financial assistance they may need.

The group has about 10 people on their books at any one time, and Mrs Moore is encouraging more MND sufferers to reach out for help.
There's plenty out of them out there; Griffith's MND epidemic has made national headlines, with residents being seven times more likely to be struck down by the disease than the average Australia.
The support group also provides emotional support, both to the victims of MND and also to the families who are in the process of losing a loved one to the disease.
The Griffith & District Motor Neurone Disease Support Group meets every second Monday of the month at 6pm at the Southside Leagues Club.
Their next meeting will be at 6pm on October 14 at the Southside Leagues Club, and anybody who is interested in joining the group is welcome to come along.
"Hopefully we might see a few new faces," Mrs Moore said.
