The WIN travel show What's Up Downunder pulled into Darlington Point to film an episode as part of the show's upcoming season, which will follow a road trip around the Riverina.
Filming for the episode took place a number of locations in Darlington Point and Griffith as part of the four day stopover, with the Griffith Rotary Markets and tours of local farms all on the agenda.
Co-host of What's Up Downunder Craig McGown said the town welcomed the show warmly.
"The culture in this town is a cracker," Mr McGown said.
"It is so friendly, we haven't had one person that's even looked like ignoring us, everyone's just got behind us... its got a really good country town vibe."
As part of the stop, the show also held a 'Happy Hour' event at the Punt Hotel which raised funds for Rural Aid.
The event, which was originally due to be held at the Riverside Caravan Park, required a last-minute change to an indoors location due to rainy weather.
However, the change in venue did not stop the activities on offer, with visitors treated to a number of stalls promoting local wares and performances from musician Ron Sinclair and bush poet Dave Proust.
Mr McGown said the turnout to the event was good and helped showcase the strength of the Darlington Point community.
"They get together when there's an event on," Mr McGown said.
"They come and support it because they know how quiet the towns can be when there isn't anything happening... this is a great roll-up and as far as the rain who could complain?"
Those who are wishing to see themselves on screen will need to wait however, with the episode not due to air until February 2020.
The show's next stop for filming will be in Deniliquin before heading into Victoria.
