MIA RFS have asked farmers and contractors to stop harvesting and check local weather conditions before deciding whether to continue.
People who are harvesting are requested to stop, check weather conditions, equipment and the harvest guides, and only resume if it is safe.
The RFS urges farmers and contractors re-assess conditions during the day.
The Bureau of Meteorology has forecast northerly winds which will shifting west to southwesterly with gusts up to 40 kilometres an hour during the morning, and becoming southwesterly during the evening.
A total fire ban remains in place across NSW as the state's fire agencies battle large bushfires in the state's north.
Further information on NSW RFS harvest safety alerts and the grain harvesting guide is available at www.rfs.nsw.gov.au/harvesting-guide.
