MIA RFS have asked farmers and contractors to stop harvesting and check local weather conditions before deciding whether to continue.
People who are harvesting are requested to stop, check weather conditions, equipment and the harvest guides, and only resume if it is safe.
The safety alert covers Carrathool, Griffith, Hay, Leeton, Murrumbidgee and Narrandera council areas.
The RFS has rated the bushfire danger as high for Tuesday, November 26.
The RFS urges farmers and contractors re-assess conditions during the day.
