The Hanwood side was able to make a strong start with Jordan Whitworth and Neil Geltch at the top of the order with an opening stand of 35 before Whitworth (20) fell to the bowling of Patrick Payne (1/12).
The wicket did little to slow the progress from Hanwood with Dean Catanzariti (32) joining Geltch (30) in the middle for a 58-run partnership before both batsmen fell in quick succession with the score on 93.
The runs continued to tick over for Hanwood with Jason Bertacco (21), Luke Catanzariti (21*) and Oliver Stubbs (24*) able to make starts to lift their side to 6/178 off their 40 overs.
Leagues were able to make a positive start; however, when Teao Woetai (13) it triggered a collapse from the Panthers.
Vilish Patel (8), Payne (8), Shae Prudham (0) and Oscar Nolan (3) all fell in quick succession.
The Panthers were never able to recover from that position with Gurdish Brar (14) and Junior Makuare (23*) getting starts as they were bowled out for 62 to give Hanwood a 116-run win.
It was a close finish between Coro and Exies Diggers.
The Cougars batted first, and while they lost two early wickets, Jamie Bennett (34) and Justin Moat (44) were able to get their side back on track.
An unbeaten half-century from Will Kennedy (57*) helped the Cougars finish their 40 overs on 8/173 with Craig Lugton (2/18), Leon Vico (2/33) and Mark Favell (2/37) taking two wickets each for Diggers.
Mick Duncan (61) lead the way at the top of the order for Diggers while Damien Browning (47) was able to add late runs in the middle order to see their side take a two-wicket win with 4.3 overs remaining.
In the final game, Exies were able to take a convincing win over Coleambally.
Adam Waide (3/9) and Duane Ashcroft (3/11) did the damage early to have the Nomads sitting on 5/16.
Only Kurt Wieldraayer (10) was able to get a start with Cameron Harrison (3/12) cleaning up the lower order with three quick wickets to see the Nomads bowled out for 45 in the 23rd over.
After the Exies openers, Bradyn Challis (19) and Jay Mitchell (17), were able to get their side off to a strong start, Sanil Chilukuri (3/18) was able to give his team a chance with three quick wickets.
Jacob Testoni (6*) and Harrison (0*) were able to get their side over the line after the stumble to take a five-wicket win.
The season will resume on Friday, January 10 when Hanwood takes on Coro.
