Leagues Panthers were able to maintain their third place on the table after a 65-run win over Coleambally on Saturday afternoon.
After winning the toss and electing to bat, the Panthers were able to put on 37 runs for the first wicket before James Clarke (2/14) picked up the wickets of Patrick Payne (17) and Noah Gaske (1) in quick succession.
Michael Cudmore and Joel Schaefer were able to get their side on track to post a competitive total with an 80-run partnership with Cudmore (67) leading the way with a half-century before he was dismissed by Kayne Ballintine (1/21).
The Panthers batsmen continued to contribute with Schaefer (18), Nobeljit Kalsi (15) and Enzo Nolan (10*) helping their side reach 5/172 off their 35 overs.
Clarke (27) and Blake McDonald were able to get their side to 59 after losing Jack Kidd (0) to the bowling of Oscar Nolan (1/9). The fall McDonald (20) was the start of the wobble however, the introduction of Oliver Young and Enzo Nolan was the deciding factor.
Young (4/18) and Enzo Nolan (3/21) took seven wickets between them in 10 overs to bowl the Nomads out for 107 to hand the Panthers the victory.
In the Friday night game, Coro was able to take a 51-run win over Exies Eagles. The Coro side batted first and lost the wickets of Bohdy Martin (8) and Jake Rand (0) with Arjun Kamboj (1/15) and Ryan Bock taking the wickets.
Kyle Bennett (11) and Harry Steele (10) tried to rebuild their innings however two quick wickets to Billy Evans (2/12) swung the game into their favour once more.
Ben Signor (30) lead the fightback for the Cougars while Rhys Carnell (14) and Charlie Jones (30) added late runs before Bock (4/33) took three quick wickets to see Coro bowled out for 141.
Thomas Camm (3/6) ripped though the Exies top order with three quick wickets before Bock tried to get his side back on track. When Bock (24) was dismissed by Jake Rand, it triggered a collapse with Rand (2/14) and Kyle Bennett (2/9) doing the damage to see the Eagles bowled out for 90 and see Coro extend their lead at the top of the order.
