Tasmania Police have seized drugs and cash worth $2 million when two police officers doing the humble work of random breath testing became the heroes of Tasmania's fight against drugs.

Northern Road and Public Order Services officers seized $1.3 million worth of ice and $750,000 in cash at a random breath testing site near Deloraine on Wednesday afternoon.
Kylie Ann Durban, 48, of Padstow and Monique Youle-Clark, 44, of Peakhurst are jointly charged with trafficking in a controlled substance and dealing with property reasonable suspected to be the proceeds of crime.
Melbourne lawyer Torik Dib applied for an adjournment until Friday, March 12 at 11.30am.
During the random breath testing operation, a 48 year old woman from NSW returned a positive oral fluid test result.
The vehicle was subsequently searched and approximately 1.3kgs of the highly addictive drug known as ice was located within the vehicle.
More than $750,000 in cash was also seized.
