The Murrumbidgee Local Health District has asked the community to take responsibility for signing into venues, after a Narrandera service station was added to a list of COVID-19 potential exposure sites.

A couple who later tested positive to coronavirus drove from Victoria through regional NSW on their way to Queensland, stopping at Gillenbah's Caltex Narrandera at the corner of the Sturt and Newell highways on June 1 from 10.30am to 11am.
Director of public health Tracy Oakman said anyone at the truck stop at the same time must immediately get tested and isolate until they receive further information from NSW Health.
"It really highlights again how important it is to use your QR codes when you're checking into places," she said.
"We were able to look at the QR code for people who were at that premises at that time, if they'd checked in we were able to send them an SMS message last night.
"We don't know where people are going to be next that may have COVID-19 and you might think that in a little area outside Narrandera that you'd be safe, but you might not be.
"So it's really important that you use that QR system and then we can make sure people get isolated fast."
A no-appointment-necessary testing clinic at the Gillenbah Caltex will be open every day from 8am to 6pm.

Ms Oakman encouraged anyone with even mild symptoms to get tested.
"The only way were going to shut this virus down is to detect early and then obviously isolate those people so they don't pass it on to other people," she said.
"It's just really important that everyone takes personal responsibility for adhering to the current rules around the restriction on movement and the public health order and they do change over time.
"You need to stay informed and you can do that on the webpages of the relevant states.
"It is up to everyone to do the right thing, because when we don't we risk spreading it."
Ms Oakman said it was yet unknown how many people were close contacts, but a number of staff had been asked to isolate.
