An official organising committee for the 2032 Brisbane Olympics and Paralympics will be set up under proposed laws in Queensland.

Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk will on Wednesday table the laws in state parliament to set up the organising committee for the Olympic Games (OCOG).
The panel will oversee the sports program, accommodation for athletes and officials, and cultural and sporting events such as the torch relay and opening and closing ceremonies.
"This is another historic step towards bringing the world's biggest event to Queensland," Ms Palaszczuk told parliament.
There have reportedly been negotiations in recent weeks between the state and the federal governments over the make up of the organising committee.
They have agreed to jointly appoint five independent directors, in addition to four personal selections each, News Corp reported.
The premier said the bid for the games and the planning involved all levels of government including Brisbane council.
"Preparing this legislation has been no different. All our partners have been consulted and their views considered," Ms Palaszczuk said.
"Mr Speaker, all of us want the same thing: a games that Queensland and Australia can be proud of."
She also said International Olympic Committee President Thomas Bach had written to her backing her cabinet changes to focus on the Olympics earlier this month.
Ms Palaszczuk appointed herself as Olympics minister, Deputy Premier Steven Miles as minister assisting the premier on Olympics infrastructure, and Sport and Tourism Minister Stirling Hinchliffe as minister assisting the premier on Olympics and Paralympics sport and engagement.
There was no standalone Paralympics minister appointed under the cabinet reshuffle.
Federal Liberal MP Ted O'Brien has been chosen as the special envoy for Brisbane's 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
The premier said the next 11 years would pass quickly and setting up the organising committee was a crucial step.
"Since the beginning of this process I have said that I want every Queenslander to share the pride of hosting the Olympic and Paralympic Games," Ms Palaszczuk said.
"These games belong to all of us."
