Farrer semi-final moved to Gumly
GUMLY Oval will host Saturday’s Farrer League first semi-final.
The sudden-death final was to be held at Maher Oval but has been switched to Gumly Oval.
Farrer League president David Oehm made the decision to switch venues on Monday after an inspection of Maher Oval with AFL Riverina football operations manager Shane Buchanan.
“The ground has received five or six millimetres of rain since Saturday and it’s just waterlogged,” Oehm said.
“With the logistics and everything going on there, we will let Maher Oval go this year.”
The Rock-Yerong Creek will take on Northern Jets at Gumly Oval, before the remaining Farrer League finals are held at Robertson Oval.
