
After a season of hard work and dedication the Darlington Point Coleambally Roosters have held their end of season presentation night.
The club enjoyed a successful season with four of their five teams making the finals. Only the League Tag team missing out after they finished the regular season in seventh position.
The First Grade and under 16’s made it through to the finals series but fell at the first hurdle to West Wyalong and Yenda receptively.
After finishing the regular season with the minor premiership the under 18’s went into the grand final with the momentum behind them. However they were unable to get across the line falling by two points to first time winners Yenda.
The first grade side also made it through to the grand final but were confronted with the tough task of taking on an undefeated Waratah Tigers.
Despite being clear underdogs the side fought hard only to go down in golden point extra time.
