Blake Jones has placed third in his first race in Wagga after a two-year absence.
Driving on board Rocknchaton in the 1755-metre race he was starting as favourite to finish third.
His other races were on board Serene Major and Tom The Shark in the 2165 metre races, finishing fourth and eighth respectively. After taking part in Coleambally Blues’ most successful season in a decade giving him another focus, Jones was happy to turn his attention back to his first love.
