TIME MACHINE: The Lions Club of Griffith's Richard Paul is inviting residents of the region to purchase time satchels as part of the city's centenary celebrations.
The Griffith Lions Club recently launched a special project inviting the community to purchase a moment in time to mark the city’s centenary.
Instead of the traditional time capsule, the Lions Club is selling time satchels which will be stored and opened in 2041.
Once you purchase your satchel you can fill it with items and then return it to the council for storage.
Satchels will remain on sale until October 23 and need to be returned by October 30. If you are interested in purchasing a satchel you can contact any of the following Lions members:
