Despite the threats from the gathered thunder clouds and the multitude of insects that came with the wind, another great night of tennis was had by all competitors.
Backing up their good start to the tennis season last week the Midgees had yet another convincing win this time against the Moths who were playing their first game of the year after a first round bye.
It was a close competition between Bees, who lost in convincing fashion last week, and Mozzies who were also defeated easily in round one, with Mozzies ultimately being victorious.
Flies had the bye for this week.
Reminder the tennis club AGM will be held next week on 29-11-16 at the tennis club at a time to be set between play.
Would love to see some new faces join the committee, and look forward to another strong year for the club.
