The Coleambally PreSchool Association will receive $7461 as part of the NSW Government's 2016 Community Partnership Program.
The money will go towards the building of a new resource shed.
“These funds will be utilised to provide a better environment,” a member of the Coleambally PreSchool said.
“Currently the one we have is a bit of a workplace issue and is in much need of an upgrade.
“The new shed will allow us to provide more for the kids in terms of facilities.”
The preschool saw this as a great opportunity so jumped at the nomination to secure money which would have otherwise need to be raised through families or other members of the community.
Member for Murray, Adrian Piccoli said the aim of the funding was to create more vibrant and inclusive communities and deliver positive social, environmental and recreational outcomes.
