Murrumbidgee General Manager Craig Moffitt said that the plan offered the council a guide for the future of the town.

The Council has not yet decided to adopt specific recommendations, but received the plan at the July meeting.
“Council will consider the recommendations after the September election and also as part of the Community Strategic Plan.” Mr Moffitt said.
With elections taking place on September 9, the new council will have until June 2018 to adopt a strategic plan for the community’s future.
The Darlington Point Township Structure Plan was developed following a series of consultations with the community back in June.
Local business owner and butcher Jody Heath welcomes any ideas to improve Darlington Point.
