McWhirter (6) fell to the bowling of Duane Ashcroft (2/30) with Shannon (49) falling soon after leaving Issac Campbell (10*) and Todd Argus (5*) too add some late runs to see Hanwood finish on 8/156.
Exies needing to get 157 in 35 overs to secure the victory. However, when Travers Pickmere (2) and Winkler (0) fell to the bowling of Dean Wynne (2/18), Exies needed to rebuild early.
