After winning the toss and electing to bat, the Nomads suffered an early set back when Sam Breed (0) fell to the bowling of Joshua Smith (1/41).

The innings was stabilised when Bryce Rogers was joined by Tom Fattore as the pair pushed their side into a competitive position of 67 before Rogers fell to the bowling of Jack Hutchinson (2/40).

Fattore and Jack Cullen continued the good work with a 153-run stand which pushed the side past the 200-run mark before Cullen (79), Sam Toscan (1) and Lachlan Fattore (0) fell in quick succession to see the Nomads fall to 5/231 after Mark Bennett (2/17) picked up two wickets.

Jack Buchanan (26) and Thomas Munn (10) added some late runs to see Coleamally reach a massive total of 7/265 off 35 overs.

Hutchinson and Jake Rand put on 24 for the opening partnership before Rand (2) was run out while Buchanan (2/8) picked up the wickets of Hutchinson (17) and Issac Testoni (0) to have the Cougars on 3/24.

After a 19-run partnership between Smith (5) and Kyle Bennett (10) saw the side reach 43 before Cullen was introduced into the attack and took three quick wickets to put Coro on the back foot at 7/57.

They were unable to get themselves back on the right track as Toscan (1/3) took the wicket of Sam Flood (1) while Munn (1/6) dismissed Cooper Rand (2).

Jamie Bennett (4) and Jacob Witherspoon (4*) added some late runs, but it was ultimately not enough as the Cougars were bowled out for 73 in 22.1 overs to give the Nomads a convincing 192 run win.

Meanwhile, in the game between Leagues and Hanwood, the result hung in the balance well into the final over.

After Hanwood won the toss and elected to bat, they set the Panthers a tough chase finishing with 8/160 off their 35 overs. 

When Leagues lost their final wicket in the final over of the game, they were four runs behind to give Hanwood a nail-biting victory as Leagues continue to search for their first win of the season.
