The much-awaited ballot paper draw was held on 123 Banna Avenue in Griffith on Thursday March 7, and conducted by returning officer Rick Goodwin.
PRE-POLLING
There will be no pre-polling available in Darlington Point or Coleambally.
On election day Saturday March 23 Darlington Point residents will be able to vote at the Murrumbidgee Council Chambers while there will also be an election station at the Coleambally Community Hall.
However, those residents who will be travelling or will be otherwise unable to attend a polling place on election day Saturday March 23, will have to make the drive to Griffith or Leeton to pre-poll their votes by Friday March 22.
Griffith
WHERE: Murray Election Manager’s Office, 123 Banna Avenue. Assisted disabled access, no designated parking space.
WHEN: Monday March 11 to Friday March 22.
TIMES:
- Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 6:00pm
- Thursday March 21: 8:00am – 8:00pm
- Saturday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
- Closed on Sunday
WHERE: Griffith Aboriginal Medical Centre, 38-42 Jondaryan Avenue. Fully wheelchair accessible.
WHEN: Friday March 22 only.
TIMES: From 8:00am – 6:00pm
Leeton
WHERE: Leeton Shire Council Administration Building, 23-25 Chelmsford Place. Assisted disabled access
WHEN: Wednesday March 6 to Friday March 22.
TIMES:
- Monday to Wednesday, Friday: 8:00am – 6:00pm
- Thursday: 8:00am – 8:00pm
- Saturday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
- Closed on Sun.
