Having run as an independent in 2015, and having been almost successful in breaking in the 2017 byelection with a 19 per cent swing to the Shooters, Mrs Dalton's win on Saturday marks the end of the National party's decades long stronghold on the region.
For Colemabally, Darlington Point and Jerilderie Mrs Dalton said "the smaller the town, the greater the disadvantage in Murray."
"I want to make reviving small towns a top priority," Mrs Dalton said.
"The lack of medical services across Coleambally, Darlington Point and Jerilderie are a major concern I raised during the campaign and something I'll be lobbying very hard far over the next few weeks.
"A lot of the shops have closed in these towns over the past decade, that's something we need to turn around.
"We favor a five year exemption in payroll taxes for regional businesses and this is something I'll be pushing very strongly for the NSW Government to adopt."
When asked what she thought about the 2016 merger of Murrumbidgee Shire and Jerilderie Shire Mrs Dalton said the "SFF strongly oppose forced council amalgamations."
"I advocate a plebiscite on de-merging the two councils," Mrs Dalton said.
Ms Dalton said she would also like to a see standardised metering a 'no meter no pump' rule to be applied across the entire Murray Darling Basin.
Voters of Murray are expecting great things from their newest member, with the promise of a brand new Griffith Base Hospital in "two years, not 10."
She will also fight for a five-year pause of the Murray Darling Basin Plan and demand a federal royal commission into it to "to expose corruption and mismanagement".
