The Blueheelers were able to cross first with Chanel Asomua crashing over in the opening 90 seconds before the Roosters scored three quick tries with Tom Bowditch, Joel Misiloi and Tom Fattore crossing to give DPC a 14-6 lead.
In a fiery second half, Yenda reduced the gap to two points with Ty Powell getting over the line before the Blueheelers were handed a numerical advantage with Tom Fattore sent to the sin bin.
The penalty didn't hamper the Roosters with Chris Westerlund getting over while Jordan Magoci scored next to the post to wrap up their spot in the grand final. Yenda will head into next weekend without Joe Rovere who was sent from the field.
Meanwhile, in the minor semi-final, it was Yanco-Wamoon who kept their season alive after 28-26 win over West Wyalong.
The Hawks scored first with Jock Yelland getting over before the Mallee Men started to build a lead with Logan Collins, Dylan McCartney and Bobby Jones scoring tries but the Yanco-Wamoon side pulled back the gap back to two points at halftime.
Three tries early in the second half for the undermanned Hawks saw them get out to a 10-point lead before the Mallee Men scored twice to take a two-point lead with two minutes remaining.
Against all odds, the Hawks were able to get the ball back from the kick-off after a one-on-one strip, and Stanley Herrmann got the try to give the Yanco side a two-point win.
